My stay at Malmaison Edinburgh was quite an experience. The charming atmosphere of the historic building immediately caught my attention. though I had a few reservations about some aspects. The room was spacious and the bed remarkably comfortable, making for a good night's sleep, but there were some issues with privacy and soundproofing that detracted from the overall experience.

The room was large and comfortable, but the lack of a privacy blind was a drawback. it faced a square, making it awkward to change clothes without closing the curtains. Still, I loved the cozy bed which ensured a decent night's sleep.

While many staff members were friendly and helpful, I found the reception experience to be lacking. on check-in, there was a delay in getting my room, and it felt dismissive when I asked about it.

Overall, it was a mixed bag of comfort and disappointment.

Overall, it was a good stay, but there are definitely areas for improvement.
